The List
The "list" is something I alluded to in a previous post. Most of you likely knew what I was referring to - a list of things to do, try, or accomplish in life - and have one of your own. I think it's important to revisit this list periodically because it reminds us of why we do what we do. We don't struggle through the daily grind because it's fun or make money because we like money itself. We do it for the experiences with the people we care about and what that money allows us to do. It comes down to what we want to do in life, not what we want to have.
This helps put things in perspective and aligns us more closely with the goals that matter. Plus, each time you can mentally cross something off your list, it serves as a reminder that you're on track in doing what's really important. I can't say I've learned the guitar yet, but I've taken the first steps to make it happen. What's next on your list?
