First Day of Autumn

Tomorrow (9/21) marks the first day of Autumn. I happened to notice it on my calendar although I generally don't pay attention to such dates as the signs of changing seasons are usually quite evident. As clear as they are, the seasons tend to meld together as the days do and time seems to pass us by. Summer fun is quickly replaced with brisk winds and the holiday season. Most people have a favorite season, but time passes too fast to be always hoping for the next spring or summer. Each has its own perks to be enjoyed as it comes. Taking a step back to recognize the transition may help us to reflect upon and appreciate the coming days more fully.
