Kanye West - Arrogant?
Recent comments made by (an intoxicated) Kanye West:
"I'm the #1 artist in the world right now... I am the #1 human being in music. That means any person that's living or breathing is #2... because I'm #1 right now... You in the presence of a champion, bow in the presence of greatness..."
The man definitely stirs controversy. While his attitude grates on some people, you have to admit that he backs his statements (with latest album sales close to 1.2 million in two weeks). Some says he's cocky or arrogant, but I think he has the right mindset. You need to know you're the best before stepping into that role. While his "style" may not win him any popularity contests, I don't think you can fault Kanye for the way he perceives himself. Without the confidence, he wouldn't be Kanye West and people wouldn't be talking about whether he's arrogant or not.

I agree, he wouldn't be Kanye without his attitude but I wish he'd just fade in the background a little - he seems like a poor loser - he even appeared on the Ellen show to complain about not winning at the VMAs.
