Ripping Pictures

I've always felt that it was somewhat wrong to rip up a photo. The fact that you're destroying this captured point in time or horrifically ripping someone's face makes me uneasy. I think, though, that if anyone else shares this sentiment they would agree things have changed drastically with the digital camera. Maybe we feel more comfortable sending people into a black oblivion rather than sawing them in half. But these days it takes little to decide to hit the 'delete' button and shoot again. I'm curious to know how many fewer pictures are developed these days as we increasingly store our lives online.
