Hawaii Day 4
Our last day in Hawaii. On our walks we saw there was a McDonald's around the corner and figured, hey we're on vacation we should make a stop for breakfast on our last day. We were curious to see what special menu items they had specific to Hawaii and decided to order one - Portuguese sausage with egg and rice.

This wasn't that great. We also ordered the sausage egg mcmuffin. They also gave pineapple as part of one of these meals, not sure which.

After breakfast Annie suggested that if I really wanted ramen again (see Day 3) we could pick it up right at 11 and eat it back at the hotel. I thought this was a great idea so after lounging a bit we headed back to Ramen Nakamura! We went pretty early so we browsed in some shops on the way. We still got there about ten minutes early only to find that they were actually open already! So we decided to sit down and eat there. We were pretty full from breakfast so we shared a mini combo, this time we ordered the shio ramen.
Afterwards we walked back and packed up our stuff to wait for the airport shuttle. It actually rained a little while we were waiting but it was harmless rain which stopped after about 5 minutes. The people on the beach just moved and waited for a bit and when the rain let up they ran back out to the beach. Here's a picture Annie took of me enjoying the rain.

And that, unfortunately, wraps up our trip to Hawaii. It was a nice break but definitely felt too short, almost surreal.

Anyway, I knew you were going to end up eating at the ramen place again! This post is making me hungry...I can't wait to get ramen on Tuesday!
