A Conversation Overheard
I played golf with my dad today. Two guys named Frank and Rick rounded out our foursome. It was a bit slow, and there was some downtime while we waited to tee off at almost every hole. While we waited at the thirteenth, Frank asked Rick if his wife also played golf. Rick said that she wasn't as active as she used to be but was naturally slender and "a pretty girl". He went on to tell how they had gone out to dinner the other night, and how great she had looked in a dress they had recently bought. Heads turned as his wife removed her jacket.
True or not, Rick's perspective showed how he really felt about his wife. To him, she was beautiful. I was surprised by his candor, and felt that it was a rare moment worth sharing.

A good example of how beauty is more than skin deep and also in the eye of the beholder. It's weird how when you grow to know someone, you overlook both physical and personal flaws. The REAL question is whether or not she was pretty, haha.

I agree - there are some people that seem to become more beautiful the more you get to know them. I'm curious whether she was really pretty too haha.
