Listening Experiment
I'd previously read that we encounter sources of noise every day at a high enough decibel level to damage our ears. In an effort to neutralize this damage, a few weeks ago I started listening to music in my car at a barely audible level. I thought that at some point I would get used to it and the softer music would seem loud to me. I tried this for a week or two but couldn't stick with it. I think it did make a difference, but there's something so satisfying about blasting a good song, especially with the top down.
