Lessons Learned
This past week I hit my four year anniversary at work. I think that nowadays four years at any one company is a long time. With this milestone and my plans to return to school, I felt it was worth reflecting on some of the lessons I've learned.
Change is inevitable. We've all heard it before, but it really is. Things change, people come and go. I think I'm now the fifth most tenured person in my group. Learn to deal with change, because it will happen with or without you.
Keep a cool head. There is no situation that is made better by freaking out and panicking.
It's people and relationships that really matter. I'm going to remember the people I worked with, not the work itself.
