On Winning

There seems to be a common theme in my classes that focuses on winning. My Sales Strategy professor talks about how, in sales, there is only one winner. The rest are losers.

My Strategy professor said something that really caught my attention:

"If you don't feel the hurt when you lose, you'll probably never win anything."

I'm not sure if this was any profound statement for my classmates, but I immediately wrote it down and thought about how true it is. I may not have captured the delivery of these messages in quite the same way, but they were definitely impactful and I find myself highly motivated. To win.
