Dubai: Day 2
The workweek in Dubai begins on Sunday so we were ready to go bright and early the next day. We visited an investment company called Abraaj Capital. Our company visits on this trip differed from the PRIME company visits in that we got to hear from company speakers in the morning before providing our own presentations. This gave us a much more in depth company and UAE perspective.
In the boardroom at Abraaj:

Taking a break on the patio:

Lunch:

Like the other companies we visited, Abraaj was very forward-looking and the team's project was to recommend suggestions to optimize a site they funded as a resource and forum for entrepreneurs in the region.
After we returned to the hotel we headed out to Jumeirah Beach Resort (JBR) Walk, which was another outdoor area with shopping and restaurants and, as the name suggests, close to the beach. We settled on a Moroccan place for dinner with a outdoor patio that was ideal for people watching.

Afterward, we headed to the Sofitel for a drink at the rooftop bar. Very chill atmosphere with an infinity pool, swim-up bar, and dinosaur-egg lights that you could set to change colors.
