Review: Gott's Roadside
Headed up to Napa earlier today and before we even visited a winery I was ready for lunch. I remembered a few years back I had gone wine tasting with some friends and we had driven for a while (I think I passed out in the car) before eating at a burger place called Taylors.
We had some trouble finding the place, mainly because it's now called Gott's Roadside. Fortunately, it didn't take us too long to figure out that the name had changed. I read some other reviews of the place and the main complaint people have with this place is the price. I definitely agree that it's pricey, but at the same time I think that sometimes certain products can command a premium price. Lil and I split an Ahi burger (seared Ahi tuna with Asian slaw and ginger wasabi mayo on an egg bun) and a vanilla bean milkshake.

As you can tell, we got through half the burger before I decided to snap this picture but I think it worked out because you can make out the seared Ahi more clearly. Later we decided to order some fries too and the total came out to about $22. Keep in mind we shared this between 2 people.
The burger was good (with a bit of a kick from the mayo) and the milkshake surprisingly so since I don't have a sweet tooth. I would definitely recommend trying Gott's if you get the chance because they only have 3 locations. They also have a decent assortment of milkshakes that includes white pistachio and espresso bean among others.
