Updated my twitter background - you can see the new look here.
Happened to stumble across an entrepreneurship blog that provided instructions and a template for creating a custom background using Powerpoint. The resizing didn't work out that well for me, but I was able to tinker with it until I was satisfied with the placement through some simple trial and error.
